FINTECH FINANCE LENDER
A rapidly growing ‘fintech’ lending business required financial management for standard governance, management insights and business hygeine, as well as the capacity to work in shareholders and future investors on the use and access of capital and better overall decision making. Before this, they had no robust foundations to rely on.
SOLUTION DESIGN AND DELIVERY
On reviewing and understanding the CFO function, including operationally managing this role for a period of time, a fully integrated financial model, built on best practice modelling standards was scoped and installed. This included:
Leveraging the core lending system and their cloud-based accounting package, with automated loading into the model.
An additional capital raising model for series B rounds and beyond.
Development and installation of an automation tool within the finance processes to avoid having to hire additional team members, ensuring the CFO role was truly ‘digitally enabled’.
