Our community of finance leaders self-rated themselves as 59% on the level of influence and impact on business decisions.
Closing this gap is critical to shaping the value and reputation of finance in business.
A huge 41% of finance professionals surveyed have never participated in any form of training to increase their capacity in finance business partnership
A significant issue, 53% of professionals are not confident that their finance function is structurally designed to set business partners up for success.
Knowing your business partners allows you to design impactful methods of creating value and supporting their decisions. A huge 72% of finance professionals have not surveyed non-finance stakeholders on their relationships and needs from finance.
72% of finance leaders we surveyed do not believe their organisation is doing enough to support finance business partnership culture and the development of the finance team.
The need is obvious.
Business leaders are seeking more contribution from finance to strategy and decision making, but there is a gap in skills and the investment into capability. The Outperformer team have developed solutions to help accounting and finance professionals, and leaders to easily address the development of partnership and value creation skills, and deliver this with a focus on a change of behaviour and performance.
We have developed a range of programs that focus on:
1. Finance Business Partners creating value and insights for the stakeholders they serve.
2. Communication and influence strategies, as well as leadership behaviours which are vital for partnership.
3. Tools, frameworks and solutions finance business partners can embed in their organisation.
4. Solutions to suit desired performance change and goals of the organisation.
These programs are mapped to your desired solutions, business culture, existing leadership and capability frameworks, and take into account constraints and environmental challenges facing the performance of business partnership.

The team at PepsiCo ANZ engaged The Outperformer to roll out a dedicated learning program to support the development of our business partnership culture, communication and collaboration for the Finance team.
We believe The Outperformer have performed to a high standard, from initial engagement with the Finance Leadership Team to the most recent round of Action Learning Sets. Brad and his team demonstrated a clear strength in swiftly identifying our requirements and designing a program to address these at pace. They also demonstrated very good agility when leading sessions; whether they be in a Town Hall environment or small (<10 people) Action Learning Sets.

During 2017 I engaged Brad Eisenhuth from the Outperformer to drill into and address various core elements we needed to review and build on for the Subaru finance team.
We needed to articulate the building blocks and define the roadmap of shifting into becoming a customer led high performing team. The sessions Brad ran helped to unlock spectacular insights for the team and myself as a leader as to where we can focus our efforts to address underlying performance as a starting point. Key to this was uncovering talent potential to understand and execute hitting the must win battles.
I am looking forward to working with Brad on future programs.
Brad was an engaging and motivating speaker and facilitator whom I would recommend to any potential organisation. A true asset.
