ROB PHIPPS

Over the past 20+ years, Rob has lived and worked in Asia Pacific, UK, Middle East and Africa, gaining unique experience in People Strategy, Operations, Franchising, Multinational Business and Commercial Development. He is recognised as an expert in building legacy HR strategies that identify and connect the people brand with organisational brand.

Across his career, he has received multiple awards during a diverse career at Yum! including two President’s Awards and a Chairman’s Award, and under his stewardship, Yum! was externally recognized as Employer of the Year Large Business from the National Retail Association and he was awarded Australia’s Dave Ulrich HR Leader of the Year by AHRI, among other awards.

In addition to his consulting and facilitation work, he regularly delivers speaking engagements for organisations such as AHRI, HR Summit, Retail Summit, HRD Forum and the Australian Drinks Association, and has been profiled in numerous HR and Business journals including HRD Magazine, The Australian and Hays Journal. Rob is also a Non-Executive Director of AHRI and President of AHRI’s NSW council.

Rob is a passionate supporter of the Tour de Cure organisation, having raised over $180,000 to find a cure for cancer over the past 8 years through various cycling events. He currently lives in Sydney, Australia with his wife and two children.
